The “Atashin' Chi” Special Exhibition used realistic settings like a movie set to let visitors live out a day in the life of each family role. When passing from scene to scene, digital sensors were employed to automate the changing of ambient lighting, allowing visitors to simply wave towards a sensor to call forth a dreamscape of clouds on the walls and each family role appearing after the other. As in many an anime movie, cooking is the major activity of the housewife character, so in one of the scenes, we combined animated recipes and a cooking game to bring a static scene to life.
