FORDWOLD LIFEWAY

New Taipei City

At the reception center of FORWORLD in Xinzhuang, an immersive five-sense exhibition titled “Return (Hui)”, jointly created by FORWORLD and designer Aaron Nieh’s team, invites visitors to slow down and rekindle their imagination of environment, architecture, and life—beginning with a single exhibition.

It is as if we have infused space with its own “nervous system.”

Every part of the exhibition incorporates the natural soundscape of Xinzhuang. Sensors throughout the space capture each visitor’s steps and pauses in real time, translating them into shifting light rhythms and subtle changes in sound.

As visitors move deeper into the experience and approach the central interactive water installation, they can scan a QR code with their phones. By sliding a glass bead that symbolizes a “water droplet,” they place their imaginations and expectations of “home” into the pool. Each gesture sends ripples across the water—activating changes in light, shadow, and sound.

Through an integrated design of sound, materials, and luminous movement, the exhibition transforms “returning home” from a simple journey into a sensory experience—an opportunity to rediscover what “home” truly means.
